The role of Event Bartender at Constellation, based at the California Academy of Science in San Francisco, California, is a rewarding part-time position offering $25 an hour with a focus on delivering exceptional beverage and meal service to a diverse clientele. This role requires a motivated and skilled bartender who thrives in a dynamic, event-driven environment. As an Event Bartender, you will be responsible for mixing and serving both alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages accurately following established recipes. You will also be tasked with setting up and breaking down all front-of-house and back-of-house bars and beverage stations, ensuring seamless service during events. Beyond beverage service, you will perform food service duties as needed, showcasing versatility and a commitment to customer satisfaction. Strong communication and customer service skills are essential, as you will be interacting closely with guests, describing menu options, and making tailored recommendations. The position demands an individual who can memorize a variety of beverage recipes and execute them efficiently while maintaining a high standard of hospitality.
