The Sous Chef role at Rooster's Wood-Fired Kitchen is a pivotal position within the SouthPark team. This role is perfect for culinary professionals with a solid foundation in classic cooking techniques, including knife skills, sauce making, and plating, combined with the ability to thrive in a high-volume kitchen setting. As a Sous Chef, your primary responsibility will be to assist in overseeing kitchen operations, ensuring that service runs smoothly during shifts, and maintaining the high culinary standards the restaurant is known for. You will support and mentor line cooks, helping to maintain consistency in food quality and elevate the skills of your team. Additionally, you will be involved in managing prep work, inventory control, order placement, and various production tasks, working closely with other Sous Chefs and the Executive Chef to meet daily production goals.
