This particular role is a Culinary Manager position based at a Harvard campus location. The Culinary Manager is responsible for managing all aspects of small to medium scale food production and special events preparation within a campus café environment. Reporting to the Culinary Director (CDC), the role requires leadership and operational management skills to inspire and guide a diverse team of culinary staff. The beaming focus is to deliver extraordinary hospitality experiences that not only exceed customer expectations but also uphold all food quality, safety, and cost standards. The Culinary Manager ensures the provision of innovative, delicious, and sustainable food offerings aligned with Harvard University’s high standards and sustainability goals. The position involves meticulous operational management, including menu planning, execution of catered events, kitchen equipment oversight, inventory controls, and compliance with HUDS and University food safety and sanitation policies.
