The Sous Chef plays a critical role in delivering resort-style food and hospitality while fostering strong, positive, and lasting relationships with residents and guests. Working collaboratively with the Executive Chef, Community Managers, and fellow culinary and dining team members, this position ensures that every meal is prepared to the highest standards in a scratch-based kitchen environment. This role is ideal for culinary professionals who are passionate about food and hospitality and want to develop their leadership skills. As a Sous Chef, you will have hands-on experience cooking meats, fish, vegetables, soups, eggs, and other dishes, focusing on food safety, efficient kitchen operations, and appealing food presentation. Additionally, you will learn directly from an expert Executive Chef and have opportunities to provide leadership support in their absence. The position offers a balanced work schedule with Tuesday through Saturday shifts for lunch and dinner, with no late-night work required, ensuring a good work/life balance.   • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Previous leadership experience in culinary preparation and cooking preferred
  • Basic computer skills
  • Ability to secure food handler permits as required by local ordinances within two weeks of first day
