The role offered is a full-time Sous Chef position with a schedule from Monday through Friday, 6:00 am to 2:30 pm, ideal for culinary professionals seeking stable daytime working hours without the demands of nights or weekends. The role demands strict adherence to food safety regulations at all levels—corporate, state, and federal—ensuring proper food handling, presentation, portion control, and maintenance of serving temperatures.
In addition to culinary skills, the position requires comprehensive knowledge in inventory management, including tracking product production, consumption, and waste, and timely reporting of supply shortages. Your role is essential in maintaining both the quality of food served and the sanitation of kitchen equipment and workstations, which aligns with Eurest's commitment to excellence and customer satisfaction.
The successful candidate will also be adept at fostering positive customer interactions by resolving complaints in a courteous, service-oriented manner, conveying relevant feedback to supervision, and clearly communicating menu details to both customers and associates. This is a leadership role that demands multitasking and the capacity to manage the kitchen environment efficiently during peak production and service hours.
