As a Zuma Sous Chef, you will play a pivotal role in supporting the Executive Chef and Head Chef in orchestrating the smooth operations of the kitchen. This full-time position is centered on overseeing food preparation, menu development, staff supervision, and maintaining superior quality standards to ensure every guest enjoys an exceptional culinary journey. As a key figure within the culinary team, you will inspire creativity and efficiency while mentoring cooks and managing daily kitchen activities. Your responsibilities include ensuring consistent execution of dishes, managing inventory and food costs, scheduling staff, and collaborating on seasonal menus and special culinary events. - Culinary degree or equivalent formal training preferred
- 2+ years Sous Chef experience or senior culinary position in a high-volume restaurant or hospitality establishment
- Must hold a valid health and safety certification as required by local regulations
- Ability to work flexible hours including evenings weekends and holidays as required
