The Sous Chef role at Flight Club is critical to the culinary team and supports the Executive Chef in all kitchen operations. This position demands high culinary skill, leadership, and operational efficiency, aiming to maintain and elevate the quality of food and dining experiences consistent with Flight Club’s upscale identity. The Sous Chef plays an essential part in menu planning, supervising kitchen staff, and ensuring rigorous adherence to food safety and sanitation standards. This role also involves active participation in inventory management, equipment upkeep, and mentorship of culinary staff to promote an effective, motivated kitchen team.
Additionally, the Sous Chef assists in developing and executing culinary strategies aligned with operational goals and the company’s standards for excellence. They must possess proficiency in various culinary techniques and be adept at managing kitchen workflow while supporting scheduling and staffing management. - Knowledge of kitchen operations including inventory management and food safety protocols
- Familiarity with MS Office Suite Outlook Word Excel
