The role available is centered around culinary leadership within a high-volume, full-service restaurant environment. As a key member of the back-of-house team, the successful candidate will be responsible for opening and closing the line, conducting precise line checks and facility walks, and ensuring compliance with EcoSure and health inspection standards. The position requires managing daily kitchen operations including running service periods with a focus on food quality and presentation according to True Food Kitchen’s rigorous standards. The individual will also be entrusted with hiring, developing, and scheduling back-of-house staff, including payroll reporting to maintain adherence to company standards and legal requirements.
Working closely with the Executive Chef, this role involves managing the Profit and Loss (P&L) statements to optimize profitability through food cost management, labor control, and inventory oversight. Effective communication with front-of-house team members is also crucial to maintain consistency with company guidelines and ensure a seamless guest experience. This position demands resilience under pressure, exceptional organizational skills, and a passion for culinary excellence.
