The position available is integral to True Food Kitchen’s operations, focusing on high-quality food production and leadership within the back of house team. Responsibilities include managing and executing line openings and closings, conducting precise line checks, performing facility walkthroughs aligned with EcoSure standards, and ensuring safety compliance through rigorous health inspections. This role requires running high-volume service periods with attention to food quality and presentation consistent with True Food Kitchen’s exacting standards. The successful candidate will collaborate closely with the front of house team to ensure seamless service and will take part in hiring, developing, and scheduling back of house staff while managing payroll in alignment with company policies and state regulations. Additionally, this role partners with the Executive Chef to oversee profit and loss management, optimize food costs, labor, inventory, and overall restaurant performance. The individual filling this position will be a key player in maintaining True Food Kitchen’s reputation for excellence and operational success. Seeking candidates with strong culinary passion and exceptional attention to detail, this role demands resilience in fast-paced and high-stress environments with the ability to manage last-minute changes effectively. Applicants should have at least two years of experience as a chef in a full-service, high-volume restaurant. A foundational understanding of business financials and operational metrics is essential.
