This position is for a Sous Chef at MSP Airport, where the successful candidate will play a crucial role in kitchen leadership and culinary operations. The Sous Chef is responsible for overseeing daily food preparation, ensuring that all dishes meet the highest standards for quality, health, and safety. The role demands strong leadership skills to train, mentor, and supervise line cooks and kitchen staff, fostering a positive and productive team environment. - Degree from an accredited culinary institution preferred
- Minimum of 3 years experience as a Sous Chef preferred
- Experience with multi-unit, multi-concept kitchens a plus
- Familiarity with unionized workplace environments
- Knowledge of FDA and local health codes
- Proficiency in food costing and menu planning
- Strong communication skills
