We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Sous Chef to join our culinary team for the full-time seasonal position spanning from March through November, with some flexibility of two weeks either side of these dates. This salaried, exempt role reports directly to the Executive Chef and requires a culinary professional who thrives in a fast-paced environment while maintaining high standards of food quality and presentation. The Sous Chef will oversee all kitchen operations across multiple food outlets, ensuring smooth workflow and optimized food production. This hands-on leadership role involves daily involvement in station work, inventory oversight, recipe development, and staff supervision. The successful candidate will bring a diverse culinary background, adept in both modern cooking techniques and classic culinary arts, with a commitment to excellence and innovation. The typical work schedule averages 50 hours weekly, with the expectation of 5-6 days per week during peak season, including days, nights, weekends, and holiday shifts. Key responsibilities include inventory management, daily food preparation oversight, mentoring kitchen staff, and assisting the Executive Chef with menu design and pricing. The Chef will play an integral role in maintaining the kitchen's adherence to sanitation standards, safety protocols in line with OSHA regulations, and the Erin Hills Employee Handbook. Candidates must be physically capable of the demands of the kitchen environment, including lifting up to 50 pounds and standing for extended periods. Proficiency with Microsoft Excel and Word is necessary to handle inventory and scheduling duties efficiently.   • minimum 5 years of upscale culinary experience preferred
  • minimum 1 years of kitchen management experience
  • minimum 2 years of culinary schooling preferred
  • Servsafe certified
  • knowledgeable on various commercial kitchen equipment
  • capable of lifting 50 pounds
  • must be able to bend, squat, lift raise as needed along with carrying 10 pounds for an extended distance
  • knowledge of inventory management
