The facility’s approach encompasses not only medical care but also social, spiritual, and recreational activities that enhance the quality of life for those it serves. The Social Services - Activity Coordinator role is a full-time position that plays a vital part in enriching the daily lives of residents. Reporting to the Director of Social Services, the successful candidate will be responsible for planning, organizing, and directing a diverse array of activity programs tailored to meet the varied interests and needs of residents. These programs aim to provide entertainment, facilitate inter-communication, encourage exercise and relaxation, support creative talents, and fulfill essential psychological, social, and spiritual needs. This role also involves decorating the activity areas for special occasions and holidays to create vibrant and festive environments that residents look forward to. Beyond program management, the Activity Coordinator is tasked with purchasing supplies necessary for these activities and maintaining accurate receipts for financial oversight.
