This role is for a Safety Officer to be assigned on-site at various project locations to ensure health and safety compliance throughout the job site. The Safety Officer will monitor potential hazards, conduct training, and work closely with project managers, contractors, and other safety professionals to uphold Gray's stringent safety standards. This position involves establishing a positive safety culture consistent with Gray's safety programs, mentoring new team members, evaluating contractor safety programs, and maintaining detailed safety records.   • Bachelor's degree in occupational or environmental health and safety or similar field
  • Minimum of 5 years related construction safety experience or training, or 5-10 years related experience
  • Proven leadership skills
  • Experience in light and heavy industrial construction
  • Ability to identify potential exposures and lead corrective actions
  • Strong organizational, leadership, and problem-solving skills
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Basic computer proficiency in Microsoft Office and tablets
  • NCSO certification and advanced first aid strongly preferred
  • Willingness to travel to project sites within the United States and occasionally internationally
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, innovative environment
