This role is critical as it serves as the face of the QDOBA brand during deliveries, requiring enthusiasm, excellent customer service skills, and a focus on safety and reliability. The Catering Delivery Driver is responsible for delivering catering orders safely and efficiently, ensuring accuracy, timeliness, and a friendly interaction with customers. When not on delivery runs, the driver will function as a crew member, assisting with restaurant operations and guest service. This dual role offers an engaging and dynamic work experience that combines customer interaction with teamwork. In this role, candidates must demonstrate strong responsibility for maintaining accurate delivery logs and obtaining guest signatures to confirm order receipt. Strategic loading and arrangement of food and drinks in the delivery vehicle are essential to maintain food quality and presentation. Additionally, a Catering Delivery Driver at QDOBA must demonstrate the ability to lift up to 50 pounds when handling food and supplies, emphasizing the physical demands of the role. QDOBA is committed to complying with all state and federal laws, requiring that applicants be at least 18 years old and possess a reliable and insured vehicle. Moreover, drivers must have a valid driver's license, maintain a good driving record, and be free from DUI or DWI offenses in the past five years. As part of the company's dedication to safety and quality, all delivery drivers must submit to a motor vehicle report to verify their driving history. The pay range for this position is competitive, ranging from $12.75 to $16.75 per hour, with the added potential to earn flat rate catering service fees for eligible delivered catering orders.
