Situated in the heart of Virginia Beach's Central Business District, the Residence Inn is strategically located within walking distance of Town Center, placing guests close to a thriving and expanding business community. The Residence Inn Virginia Beach Town Center is committed to delivering an exceptional experience to all guests, emphasizing quality service and a welcoming atmosphere. We are currently seeking a full-time Housekeeping Room Attendant to join our dedicated team. This role is perfect for individuals passionate about service and maintaining the highest standards of cleanliness in a hotel environment. The Housekeeping Room Attendant is responsible for cleaning assigned guest rooms, ensuring that each space meets the hotel's established cleanliness and safety standards. This includes thorough cleaning of bathrooms, bedrooms, and other room surfaces using appropriate tools and chemicals compliant with OSHA regulations. The role also involves replenishing room amenities, linens, and supplies to ensure guest satisfaction and comfort. In addition to cleaning duties, the attendant will report any maintenance issues and respond appropriately to guest requests or complaints while safeguarding guest privacy and security. The position reports directly to the Housekeeping Manager and offers a base rate of $15.50 per hour, along with an excellent benefits package. This role requires a keen eye for detail and the ability to multitask effectively while maintaining a friendly and professional demeanor. Physical stamina is also essential due to the nature of cleaning tasks, including bending, stooping, lifting, and pushing cleaning equipment. Candidates must be flexible with their work schedule, as the hospitality industry operates seven days a week, 24 hours a day, including evenings, nights, weekends, and holidays.   • Minimum of 1-2 years of experience in some cleaning capacity, preferably Housekeeping in hotels
  • Must be able to multi-task and be very detail oriented

  • Must be willing and have the ability to work a varied schedule that includes evenings, nights, holidays and weekends
