The position of PC-12 Simulator Instructor based at Dallas-Fort Worth (DFW) airport is an exciting opportunity within Tradewind Aviation’s dedicated training division. This role is key in maintaining the highest standards of pilot training and certification with specialized focus on the Pilatus PC-12 aircraft, utilizing advanced simulator technology. The instructor will be responsible for conducting initial, recurrent, and upgrade training sessions as well as checking procedures within the PC-12 simulator environment. This position plays a critical role in ensuring all pilots meet regulatory and company standards before operating actual flights, supporting the company’s ongoing commitment to safety and operational excellence. As a PC-12 Simulator Instructor, the selected candidate will manage the simulator training schedule at the Dallas simulators year-round and assist the Director of Training with the evaluation and implementation of new training systems, policies, and procedures. The role demands a deep knowledge of aircraft systems, operating procedures, and regulatory compliance, paired with excellent presentation and communication skills. Candidates must be highly self-directed, team-oriented, and capable of working within a dynamic and fast-paced environment. The position requires relocation within 90 minutes of the FlightSafety Dallas-North facility and flexibility in working hours. Additionally, some travel to other training locations may be required as needed.   • FAA Commercial Pilot Certificate with airplane single-engine land (ASEL) with instrument rating
  • Must be able to relocate to within 90 minutes of the FlightSafety Dallas - North facility
  • Must meet the requirements of 14 CFR § 135.337 and 135.338 for simulator qualification
  • Excellent presentation ability
  • Four year college degree or equivalent experience
  • Knowledge of and the ability to teach aircraft systems, operating procedures and policies
  • Excellent interpersonal skills, team oriented and self-directed
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office suite
  • Outlook, PowerPoint, Word and Excel
  • Ability to learn new software and systems efficiently
  • Some travel required as needed at other training locations
  • Ability to work flexible work hours
