We are seeking a detail-oriented and hardworking Warehouse Associate to join our team at Road and Rail Services. This full-time position plays a vital role in maintaining the efficiency and accuracy of our warehouse operations. The Warehouse Associate will be responsible for the receiving, storing, and shipping of products, ensuring that inventory is properly organized and shipments are prepared accurately and on time. This role demands a reliable individual who thrives in a fast-paced environment and can manage multiple operational tasks effectively. Warehouse Associates at Road & Rail Services also play a significant role in maintaining a clean, safe, and well-organized warehouse space, adhering strictly to safety guidelines and company procedures.
The ideal candidate will have a high school diploma or equivalent and possess strong attention to detail and organizational skills. Prior warehouse or distribution experience is preferred but not mandatory, as training will be provided, especially for operating warehouse equipment such as forklifts and pallet jacks. The position requires physical capability, including the ability to lift up to 50 lbs regularly and handle other physically demanding tasks safely. Basic computer skills are needed for managing inventory records and performing stock counts accurately. Moreover, the candidate should have the ability to work both independently and collaboratively with teammates and supervisors to meet daily operational goals. A Forklift certification is advantageous but not required, as the company offers training for the qualified candidate. Additionally, possession of a valid driver’s license is a requirement for this role.
