The Service Porter role at Truck Centers, Inc. offers a hands-on opportunity to become an integral part of a busy truck dealership environment. This position primarily supports the service team by maintaining the daily operations within the shop and ensuring that the facilities and equipment are clean, organized, and safe for all employees. The Service Porter works Monday through Friday with shifts from either 7 am to 3 pm or 8 am to 4 pm, providing essential support that keeps the dealership running efficiently. As a Service Porter, individuals will have the chance to assist technicians by delivering parts and supporting critical repair work, maintain and clean various shop equipment like sandblasters, forklifts, and alignment machines, and manage waste disposal logistics, including recyclables and waste fluids. This role offers the opportunity to gain direct insight into truck dealership operations, develop mechanical aptitude, and contribute to maintaining a productive and safe work environment.   • High school diploma or GED
  • driver’s license and ability to meet insurance requirements is not required but is highly preferred
  • proven mechanical aptitude and dexterity with tools and shop equipment

  • ability to understand written directions and formulas to mix cleaning solutions and chemicals
