The Server role at Momiji is an essential part of the customer experience, responsible for creating a friendly and attentive atmosphere for patrons while ensuring accuracy and efficiency in taking and delivering food and drink orders. This position requires excellent interpersonal skills, a thorough knowledge of the menu, and the ability to multitask effectively in a fast-paced environment. The Server interacts closely with customers, answering questions, making recommendations, and ensuring all dietary needs and special requests are communicated to the kitchen. Additionally, the Server is responsible for adhering to health and safety policies, maintaining sanitation standards, handling point of sale transactions, and occasionally assisting in food preparation and kitchen support. • Must have or be able to obtain valid food handler and OLCC cards within 30 days of hire
• Must be able to work in various station roles including support delivery and tempura stations
• Must be able to stand and walk continually during the entire shift
• Must be able to lift carry and serve from trays weighing up to 50 lbs
• Must have manual dexterity and physical ability to perform kitchen related tasks
• Must be able to bend stoop and reach while carrying items weighing up to 50 lbs
• Must be comfortable working in kitchen environments with exposure to heat steam and cold
