The role of Server at Discovery Management Group is an integral part of the community’s daily operations, aimed at ensuring residents and guests receive exceptional dining experiences. The Server is responsible for taking meal and drink orders carefully and delivering these in a friendly and timely manner while ensuring resident satisfaction with each meal served. This role requires maintaining a thorough knowledge of all menu specials and food item descriptions to assist residents effectively. Servers are expected to maintain all side stations and dining areas in an orderly, clean, and welcoming state, abiding by daily and weekly cleaning schedules, and upholding safety and loss prevention procedures. They play a vital role in setting up and cleaning the dining room, consistently meeting or exceeding hospitality and service standards. This position demands a candidate who enjoys working with seniors and possesses the ability to interact courteously and congenially with residents, guests, and staff. Responsiveness to resident needs is critical, as is the ability to balance individual tasks with team responsibilities efficiently.
