The Server role at American Cruise Lines is a temporary onboard position for the 2026 cruising season where candidates will work for 28 weeks serving guests in the shipboard hotel and restaurant. Servers are vital brand ambassadors who deliver outstanding hospitality and create memorable dining experiences for cruise guests. This position is ideal for individuals passionate about hospitality and eager to build their careers in the cruise industry because it provides hands-on experience and exposure to a dynamic work environment. The Server is responsible for efficiently preparing and breaking down meal settings, providing attentive table service, and catering to culinary requests with professionalism and care. Working onboard means that employees benefit from major expenses such as room and board, uniforms, training, and travel being fully covered, allowing them to save a significant portion of their earnings. Servers will also have the unique opportunity to travel extensively across the United States and build connections with crew members and guests alike. This role demands a strong work ethic, endurance for extended working hours (up to 12 hours a day, 7 days a week), as well as compliance with strict grooming and safety standards onboard.  - previous hospitality or customer service experience preferred
 - legal authorization to work in the U.S.
