This position is available for candidates based in Southern California areas including North LA, Orange County, San Diego, Inland Empire, as well as Dallas/Fort Worth, Texas. With competitive hourly rates ranging from $16.50 to $22.00 per hour (including tips) in California and $13.50 to $18.00 per hour (including tips) in Texas, this role offers both financial incentives and career advancement potential. As a Line Cook, you will be responsible for preparing a variety of meats, seafood, poultry, vegetables, and other ingredients based on Luna Grill's authentic Mediterranean recipes. Your tasks will include mastering proper cooking techniques using grills, ovens, fryers, and broilers while maintaining quality and consistency. Ensuring food safety and sanitation standards are met is a key part of this position, along with inventory management like stocking and prepping food to guarantee smooth service periods. The role demands teamwork, a positive attitude, and the ability to work efficiently during peak hours and assist during slower periods by supporting food preparation duties and closing tasks.
