The Server role is based at the Kimpton Palladian Hotel, a 97-room boutique hotel located on the edge of Belltown and Seattle’s retail core. The hotel is situated within walking distance of iconic landmarks such as Pike Place Market and the waterfront, as well as some of Seattle’s premier new restaurants, live music venues, cafés, and boutiques. This 1910 landmark hotel has been reinvented with a masculine-chic style featuring luxe amenities, edgy design elements, and contemporary furnishings that reflect the hip heritage of Belltown. The Palladian is also home to Shaker + Spear, a renowned seafood restaurant, Pennyroyal, a speakeasy-style social lounge, and a memorable lobby that attracts tech leaders and tastemakers alike. 
In this role, the Server is responsible for providing the highest quality of service to guests in an attentive, courteous, and efficient manner. This includes correctly receiving and delivering guests' food and beverage orders, performing cashiering functions by closing checks and handling end-of-shift paperwork, and consistently upselling food, beverage, and promotional items. The Server must be well-versed in the layout and organization of the restaurant outlets, lounges, and room service, and have a thorough knowledge of menus and current specials. The position requires strong communication skills and the ability to maintain a friendly and warm demeanor at all times. The role is hourly, offering a pay rate of $20.76 per hour plus tips.                 - High school diploma or equivalent
 - Experience in a hotel or related field preferred
 - Flexible hours and availability to work long shifts
 - Ability to exert medium physical work (lifting up to 50 pounds occasionally and/or 20 pounds frequently)
 - Ability to stand during entire shifts
 - Ability to carry full trays of food and beverages throughout the dining area
 - Effective verbal and written communication skills
 - Ability to listen, understand, and clarify concerns
 - Friendly, courteous, and service-oriented attitude
