Currently, QSL Management is seeking a Server for the Glenncrest at Siegen location, a part-time position with morning hours from 7am to 11am. This role is essential in delivering outstanding dining experiences to the residents and guests by providing gracious hospitality and attentive service. The Server plays a pivotal role in upholding the company's standards of cleanliness, hygiene, and food safety while creating a welcoming dining atmosphere. The Server will be responsible for assisting in the Bar and Coffee Shop as needed, guiding guests through food and beverage offerings with detailed menu knowledge, and partnering with team members to ensure prompt and organized meal service. This position requires the individual to set and reset tables according to company standards, assist in meal preparation when requested, and help maintain stock levels in various service areas. Additionally, Servers may be called upon to assist with special events and activities, enhancing the overall dining program and resident satisfaction. This role is well-suited for individuals who have a caring heart and a genuine willingness to serve others, especially within the senior living environment. Candidates must be prepared to work a variety of shifts, including holidays, weekends, and for planned special events. The ideal candidate will possess excellent interpersonal and communication skills, have experience with point-of-sale (POS) systems, and hold necessary certifications such as ServSafe and potentially a Bar Card, depending on state requirements. • Must have a caring heart willing to serve others
• High school diploma or GED equivalent
• Food server or hospitality experience required
• ServSafe certification if applicable by state requirements
• Bar Card preferred if applicable to state requirements
• Willingness to work with the elderly in a senior living environment and prepare food which meets or exceeds hospitality and service standards
• Knowledge of a POS system preferred
• Able to be flexible and work a variety of shifts including holidays, weekends and for pre-planned special events
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills and the ability to work with staff and residents
