This position is for a dedicated food and beverage server at an established hospitality venue, operating under the supervision of the Director of Club Operations and Lead Server. As a food and beverage server, you will play a crucial role in creating memorable experiences for guests by delivering exemplary service in alignment with the club's standards of food and beverage quality, presentation, and sanitation. Your responsibilities will extend beyond serving food to include opening and closing duties, maintaining cleanliness and organization in your assigned stations, and facilitating smooth communication between the kitchen, bar, and guests. You will be expected to be knowledgeable about the menu thoroughly—including the preparation methods, ingredients, and suitable garnishes—and to communicate this knowledge effectively and professionally to guests. In addition to service excellence, the role demands efficiency in handling transactions at the Point of Sale (POS) system, adherence to accounting procedures, and maintaining the dining area’s cleanliness and ambiance. You will need to be adept at managing service tasks such as pre-bussing tables, filling water glasses, and ensuring customer satisfaction by checking back with guests after serving. Physical stamina is essential for this position as it requires standing, walking, and occasionally climbing or stooping throughout shifts. The role also demands good communication skills and basic computer literacy, with a preference for experience using POS systems.
