For the 2026 cruising season, the company is hiring Servers to work onboard their cruise ships. This position is a temporary employment opportunity lasting 28 weeks, during which employees gain valuable experience in the cruise and hospitality industries. The role of Server aboard the cruise ships is essential for providing guests with an elegant and memorable dining experience in a unique environment. Servers are responsible for greeting guests warmly, escorting them to their tables, and catering to all culinary requests efficiently. They present menus, suggest food and wine pairings, and ensure that every dish is served with care, paying close attention to presentation and guest satisfaction. The position includes setting up and breaking down dining areas for breakfast, lunch, dinner, and cocktail hours, as well as performing other hospitality duties such as serving afternoon teas, snacks, and catering evening entertainment. This role offers a unique chance to save earnings, as major living expenses including travel to and from the vessel, onboard room and board, uniforms, and paid training are covered by American Cruise Lines. Wages for this position range from $1,000 to $1,400 per week plus additional bonuses, making it a lucrative opportunity for individuals looking to build a foundation in hospitality with the added adventure of traveling across the United States.
