The role of Server 1 at Invited involves delivering exceptional food and beverage service to members and guests while adhering to the company’s high service standards. This position is integral to providing a seamless dining experience that emphasizes Invited’s renowned 3-steps of service: warm welcomes, magic moments, and fond farewells. Server 1 works closely with colleagues to maintain member satisfaction and ensure a positive atmosphere within the club's dining areas. Although this is a non-lead role, Server 1 supports overall dining operations by assisting in various service duties and helping to uphold the standards of cleanliness, organization, and safety throughout the club’s facilities. Server 1 reports directly to the Food and Beverage Director, Banquet Manager, or Restaurant Manager and plays a crucial part in reinforcing the club’s commitment to excellence. Responsibilities include greeting members by name, executing food and beverage orders promptly, and maintaining thorough knowledge of the menu items, including daily specials. The Server 1 is also expected to handle member complaints with professionalism, using effective service recovery techniques to resolve any issues promptly. Additional duties encompass supporting fellow employees to ensure smooth service flow, completing daily side work to keep service areas clean and well-stocked, and adhering strictly to club policies and procedures. Employees in this role are encouraged to take initiative in their personal and professional development and maintain any required certifications relevant to food and beverage service. The position demands physical stamina to stand, walk, lift, carry, and perform other physical activities necessary for excellent service delivery. • High school diploma or equivalent
• Previous experience in food and beverage service
• Current Food Handler and Alcohol Server Certifications as required by state and city regulations
• Completion of Invited’s F&B Service Training program
• Ability to stand, walk, and perform physical activities for extended periods
• Ability to work in varying temperatures and environments, with potential exposure to dust, fumes, or gases
• Capable of climbing ladders, squatting, kneeling, reaching, grasping, twisting, bending, and folding/unfolding as required
• Able to lift, carry, push, and pull up to 100 lbs occasionally
• Effective communication skills, including talking and hearing, with sufficient visual acuity
