The Security Supervisor role at Great Wolf Lodge is integral to maintaining a safe and secure environment for guests, visitors, and staff members. This position assists the Security Manager with day-to-day operational duties of the security department and performs supervisory responsibilities including training new security personnel. The Security Supervisor carries out protective and enforcement functions, managing emergencies, disturbances, and threats to life and property in a professional and restrained manner. Key responsibilities include overseeing security equipment inspections, conducting interior and perimeter patrols, and maintaining order within the lodge. The supervisor must demonstrate a calm and logical approach in handling incidents ranging from fire hazards to violations of lodge policy, ensuring the well-being of all lodge occupants. The role requires effective communication skills to coordinate response efforts, document daily activities, and complete incident reports accurately. Additionally, the supervisor is responsible for administering CPR and First Aid when necessary, supervising investigations, and promoting a positive guest experience. This position demands availability to work various shifts including weekends and holidays, reflecting the operational needs of the resort.
