The role of Concierge Security Officer at GardaWorld Security Services involves a significant focus on customer interaction, as officers serve as the frontline representatives at diverse venues such as office towers, hotels, and shopping centers. The position is based in Napa, CA, offering a set schedule of 40 hours per week with shifts designed to cover weekends and midweek periods, specifically Saturday to Monday from 8:00 am to 4:30 pm and Tuesday to Wednesday from 1:00 pm to 9:30 pm. This role commands a competitive hourly wage of $20, supplemented by access to DailyPay for financial flexibility. Concierge Security Officers are expected to combine security expertise with exceptional customer service skills. Duties include welcoming visitors, verifying identities, managing access control, performing regular patrols to detect potential risks, and ensuring all security equipment is operational and maintained. Officers respond promptly to incidents, administer first aid when necessary, coordinate with emergency teams, and address inquiries both in person and by phone. Maintaining detailed incident reports and communicating security concerns clearly are vital to the role. Ideal candidates must be authorized to work in the U.S., hold a high school diploma or GED, be at least 21 years old, and able to pass an extensive motor vehicle record check and screening process. A minimum of one year of security experience is required, complemented by customer service excellence and proficiency with basic phone and computer skills. Those with prior experience in security, military, or law enforcement are highly valued. Possession of a state security license (BSIS Guard Card) and completion of the 32-hour BSIS security training are mandatory, with opportunities to obtain additional training during the hiring process.
