The role of an At Your Service Center Colleague at Macy’s is integral to ensuring a seamless and personalized shopping experience for every customer. This position goes beyond traditional cashier responsibilities, placing the customer at the core of all interactions throughout their visit. As an At Your Service Colleague, you are responsible for supporting a variety of activities including Buy Online Pickup In Store (BOPS), merchandise returns, and order pickups, all while upholding Macy’s high standards of hospitality and service. The role requires a dynamic individual capable of multitasking effectively in a fast-paced retail environment, adapting to shifting priorities, and delivering problem-solving solutions promptly.
Successful candidates will demonstrate a strong customer-first mindset, a passion for sales, and the ability to engage with customers and teammates in a warm and genuine manner. Being comfortable with technology is essential, as the role involves using various systems to complete transactions and manage order pickups efficiently. Flexibility is key, with the expectation to work varied shifts, including nights, weekends, and holidays. This full-time or part-time position offers schedules that typically range from 12 to 30 or more hours a week, with weekend work as a standard requirement.
