The Seasonal Heavy Duty Cleaner role at Tishman Speyer is a critical position responsible for maintaining cleanliness and ensuring health and safety standards across front-of-house areas and tenant spaces. This seasonal role offers important support in creating a safe, clean, and welcoming environment for customers, visitors, and the community. The successful candidate will undertake a variety of daily cleaning tasks including sweeping, mopping, carpet care, disinfecting high-touch areas, restocking supplies, trash removal, and outdoor maintenance such as snow and ice removal. They will operate cleaning machinery including floor scrubbers and pressure washers, manage floor refinishing, and assist with furniture moving when needed. The role requires physical stamina and the ability to work in different environments and weather conditions. Clear communication and adherence to safety protocols including the use of personal protective equipment are essential. The position is compensated between $18.584 and $23.230 per hour and is an excellent opportunity for individuals passionate about cleanliness and safety, looking to contribute to a dynamic real estate environment. • Must be able to stand for an extended period, at a minimum of 8 hours
• Must be able to move, lift, carry, push, pull, reach over-head, place objects weighing less than or equal to 50 pounds without assistance
• Ability to work outdoors with varying temperatures ranging from 0 to 100+ degrees
• Ability to travel between floors and buildings
• Wear personal protective equipment such as safety glasses, goggles, face shield, chemical-resistant reusable gloves, disposable gloves, face mask for infectious disease control, nuisance dust mask, and closed shoes with non-slip soles
• High school diploma or equivalent preferred
• Prior experience in heavy duty cleaning or janitorial services is advantageous
