YMCA Buffalo Niagara is currently hiring for multiple positions within its School Age Child Care Program, located both inside YMCA facilities and elementary schools across various Western New York areas including Buffalo, Amherst, Clarence, Kenmore, Tonawanda, Lancaster, Depew, Eden, Lockport, Lewiston-Porter, Orchard Park, and Hamburg. This program is designed to provide a safe, nurturing, and educational environment for school-aged children before and after school hours, promoting their social, emotional, and cognitive development. The role of the School Age Child Care Program Assistant is integral to delivering high-quality care and facilitating engaging lesson plans for groups of children. Employees in this position work Monday through Friday during before and after school hours, averaging about 20 hours per week, with possibilities for additional hours.
