The position available is for a Security Screening Officer responsible for the critical task of performing security screening of persons and property at key access points. This role involves conducting thorough security checks such as hand-wand screening, pat-down searches, and operating walk-through metal detector equipment to detect prohibited items. Officers will also be required to operate x-ray machines to screen baggage, cargo, and passengers for dangerous objects, ensuring strict compliance with security protocols to prevent such items from being taken onto aircraft. The role demands vigilance, attention to detail, and adherence to safety standards to protect the public and maintain order. Security Screening Officers have the opportunity to continuously improve their skills through training and development programs offered by DCS. The role requires the ability to work flexible schedules, including any day of the week and any shift within a 24-hour period, ensuring round-the-clock security coverage. Candidates must be prepared to engage in a two-week preplanned training session in either Georgia or Las Vegas, with travel accommodations provided for certification purposes. • Be a U.S. citizen or U.S. national
• Be at least 18 years of age
• Have a high school diploma or general education development (GED)
• Pass a computerized assessment including grammar and ability to interpret x-rays
• Pass a medical evaluation including vision hearing and joint mobility exam

• Pass a TSA background and financial records check
• Ability to work any day Monday to Sunday and any shift between 12:00 AM and 11:59 PM
