Terranea Resort is currently seeking dedicated and detail-oriented Public Area Attendants to join their hospitality team. This role is critical to maintaining the pristine condition, cleanliness, and overall ambiance of the guest-accessible areas throughout the resort. The Public Area Attendant’s primary responsibility is to uphold the standards of cleanliness in all corridors, elevators, landing areas, vending spaces, and service zones on guest room floors. This position ensures that guests experience a spotless and welcoming environment consistent with the resort’s luxury brand. Attendants provide essential support to Room Attendants by supplying linen and stocking floor closets, as well as delivering and retrieving items as needed during shifts. They are the frontline ambassadors of cleanliness and play a significant role in guest satisfaction by promptly responding to guest needs and maintaining positive guest relations.
Working at Terranea Resort as a Public Area Attendant involves meticulous attention to detail combined with a proactive approach to cleanliness and guest service. The position demands familiarity with various cleaning equipment and chemicals, adherence to departmental policies, and the ability to prioritize duties effectively throughout different shifts. The role requires a commitment to safety practices and security, including the responsible handling of assigned keys and equipment. Additionally, Public Area Attendants must maintain an excellent knowledge of hotel services and local attractions to assist guests efficiently. Communication skills and the capacity to work both independently and as part of a team are vital to success in this position.
This is a full-time, hourly position offering a competitive starting wage of $21.63 per hour. - High school diploma or general education degree (GED) or minimum of six months related experience and/or training
- Must be able to understand, speak, read, and write in the basic English language
- Must be available to work varied shifts and flexible schedules
- Must have valid driver’s license
- Previous hospitality experience in a Four Star quality organization preferred
