Employment type for this role is hourly with a progressive wage structure starting at $28.16 per hour, increasing after 90 days, with additional increments for long-term tenure, supporting financial stability alongside professional growth. 
The Sales and Events Coordinator at Hyatt plays an essential role in supporting the hotel’s group and event sales teams by managing event planning logistics and providing vital administrative assistance. This role bridges strategic event coordination with high-touch guest service, ensuring smooth execution of various types of events ranging from leisure blocks and intimate gatherings to seasonal event demands. The coordinator is a detail-oriented hospitality professional who thrives on communication, organization, and creating outstanding guest experiences. Responsibilities include administrative support to sales, events, and planning teams, managing interior bookings and smaller events, handling client communications, and generating agreements. This role also involves maintaining the sales funnel by tracking and monitoring incoming leads, coordinating site tours both in-person and virtually, and clearly communicating hotel policies and services to planners and clients. The coordinator plans and executes events with seamless logistics, collaborates across departments and with external vendors, prioritizes multiple tasks based on business needs, and maintains consistent, professional communication throughout all interactions.                 - high school diploma or equivalent
 - 1-2 years of experience in hospitality event sales or event coordination preferred
