Currently, Ascent Hospitality is inviting applications for the role of Sales Coordinator, a pivotal position aimed at supporting the Sales department's administrative and service functions to streamline operations and enhance client satisfaction. This role is essential in ensuring that the sales team can focus on generating business while the coordinator manages vital communication and administrative responsibilities. The Sales Coordinator will play a key role in managing group room blocks, handling pre-arrival and post-departure tasks, and providing thorough support for meeting room business and events. This includes conducting hotel site tours, maintaining group files, and preparing banquet event orders, all aimed at delivering the highest quality of service to customers and setting a standard for the entire hotel staff.
The position also requires a working knowledge of brand systems to manage group and transient business effectively, as well as the ability to coordinate with various departments to meet group needs from the time of booking through check-out. High attention to detail in managing sales files, handling billing and reservations, and maintaining collateral inventory is critical. The Sales Coordinator will also participate in community activities and hotel programs, supporting the Director of Sales in property-specific sales initiatives and client events. Regular reporting and attendance at sales and revenue meetings ensure that the Sales Coordinator aligns with the hotel's revenue strategies and operational goals.
