This non-exempt role reports directly to the General Manager and indirectly to other management staff. Food runners ensure that all menu items are expedited efficiently and accurately, delivering exceptional quality dishes to guests within La Popular’s established time standards. The position demands fast foot speed, excellent memory for menu items (including limited knowledge of beer, tequila, and mezcal), and the ability to multitask effectively during peak service times. Food Runners also support front-of-house operations by bussing tables, replenishing condiments, and ensuring the overall dining experience is seamless and enjoyable for every guest.
