We are currently seeking a full-time Sales & Events Coordinator to join our team. This person will play a crucial role in linking clients with our hotel’s operations, facilitating seamless communication between customers and various hotel departments. Under the direct support of both the Sales Manager and the General Manager, the Sales & Events Coordinator will be responsible for ensuring the successful execution of events from inception through completion, overseeing all facets of event coordination and sales administration. The ideal candidate is a highly motivated, energetic individual with a friendly demeanor and strong problem-solving abilities. As a self-starter, the Coordinator must demonstrate an eagerness to absorb new information and technologies quickly, especially computer programs essential for managing bookings, contracts, and internal communications. Organization and time management skills are critical as the role involves multitasking and meeting deadlines consistently. A substantial part of the job includes liaising with various departments such as housekeeping, culinary, food and beverage, and front desk teams, ensuring that each understands their responsibilities to produce flawless events and satisfy client expectations. This role requires exceptional customer service skills and the ability to think creatively when translating client visions into actionable plans that maximize revenue for the hotel. The Sales & Events Coordinator will handle events of all sizes and complexities, maintaining communication with all involved parties to ensure smooth operation. Responsibilities also include managing group blocks, preparing and balancing event financials, generating corporate leads via outreach methods, as well as managing social media platforms for marketing purposes.
