SAIC Controller Training Solutions (CTS) is a leading provider of training services dedicated to supporting the Federal Aviation Administration's (FAA) air traffic control workforce. Located in Memphis, Tennessee, the Memphis TRACON (M03) facility plays a critical role in the National Airspace System by safely managing and directing a large volume of air traffic. SAIC CTS is deeply committed to delivering high-quality instructional services that foster the professional development of air traffic controllers throughout the United States and its territories. The organization’s fleet of expert instructors ensures new and experienced controllers receive comprehensive training tailored to the operational demands of various ATC facilities. The role of the Air Traffic Control (ATC) Instructor at SAIC CTS involves a dynamic, hands-on approach to delivering classroom and simulation-based training. This full-time position is based at the Memphis TRACON, where the instructor will support the FAA by providing training services essential for the certification and continued education of air traffic controllers. The primary responsibility includes instructing developmental controllers and Certified Professional Controllers (CPCs), utilizing advanced ATC automation and simulation systems. A significant aspect of the role involves mentoring students and Remote Pilot Operators (RPOs), contributing to curriculum design, and maintaining compliance with industry standards through laboratory certifications. This exciting career opportunity is ideal for candidates with extensive experience controlling live air traffic or recent experience as contract instructors at comparable FAA facilities.   • US citizenship with ability to obtain and maintain Public Trust clearance
  • minimum five years FAA CPC experience controlling live traffic or recent contract instructor experience at FAA facility
  • experience must be at the same or higher level of ATC facility as Memphis TRACON (M03)
  • high school diploma or equivalent
  • FAA CPC certification with ability to obtain and maintain Instructor-II Simulation Laboratory and Classroom Certification
