This opportunity is for a part-time, year-round Security Officer position based at Atlantic Fields within the Safety and Security Department. The Security Officer plays a critical role in maintaining the safety and well-being of all members, guests, and employees at the club. As part of a highly professional team that includes safety, security, and medical professionals, the officer is expected to contribute their expertise to enhance the department and community. Responsibilities include deterring, detecting, and responding to any potential or active threats against people or property, strictly adhering to the Club Security Department's policies and guidelines. The role demands a proactive and vigilant approach to maintaining a secure residential and working environment. The Security Officer conducts quarterly training including firearm qualification, tactics training, and ongoing sustainment exercises to ensure skills remain sharp and compliant with company standards. The officer must be proficient in various use-of-force applications, defensive tactics, crisis management, emergency response, and medical aid provision while fostering a concierge security experience that supports the club's high service standards. Effective management of incidents, maintaining compliance with all local, state, and federal regulations, and upholding health and safety policies are key aspects of the role. This position requires standing and working in all weather conditions and being prepared for emergency scenarios including natural disasters. The Security Officer contributes significantly to creating the Discovery Land Company experience that defines the community atmosphere at Atlantic Fields.

• Must be able to work and stand inside/outside during all weather conditions
