Colliers is currently seeking a skilled and experienced Safety Manager to join their Owner's Representative team based in San Antonio, TX. This role is particularly tailored for a professional with experience in data center projects, offering an exciting opportunity to oversee safety management in a highly technical and mission-critical environment. The Safety Manager will be responsible for enforcing all health, safety, and environmental (HSE) regulations during the construction of new data centers, ensuring compliance with federal, state, and local safety standards as well as client-specific policies. This job entails a leadership position where one must develop and manage site-specific safety plans, conduct regular site inspections and safety orientations, and function as the primary contact for incident responses and investigations. The role requires collaboration with various stakeholders including construction managers, project managers, engineers, and contractors to maintain high safety standards across all site operations. Additionally, the Safety Manager will play a vital role in supporting environmental compliance and the implementation of fire and life safety protocols for critical infrastructure. Duties extend to overseeing the safe installation and commissioning of mechanical, electrical, and IT infrastructure systems integral to data center functionality. To succeed in this position, candidates must bring substantial knowledge of OSHA regulations, NFPA codes, and ANSI standards, alongside relevant safety certifications such as CHST, CSP, or OSHA 30-Hour Construction Certification.   • Bachelor’s degree in Occupational Safety, Environmental Health, Construction Management, or related field
  • 5+ years of safety management experience on large-scale construction projects
  • working knowledge of OSHA 29 CFR 1926, NFPA, and ANSI standards
