This role requires regular oversight of safety manuals, policies, and corporate programs to ensure they remain up to date and effective. Additionally, the manager will analyze safety data trends, oversee incentive programs, and collaborate closely with corporate claims staff to manage liability and worker's compensation claims efficiently. The position demands a proactive approach to minimize workplace injuries by coordinating with local medical facilities to expedite light duty assignments and return employees to full capacity as soon as possible. The Safety and Training Manager will also lead safety audits conducted by corporate, client, and regulatory agencies and provide leadership in both classroom and behind-the-wheel training. Candidates for this role should have a strong background in transit safety, preferably within urban public transit environments, and experience managing safety programs on a division level. The starting salary range for this full-time position is $85,000 to $96,000, reflecting the importance and responsibility of the role within MV Transportation's operational framework. • College degree or five plus years of safety management experience
