The role of Receptionist at Heritage Oaks Hospital is designed to be a vital frontline position providing essential welcoming, administrative, and communication services. The Receptionist is responsible for greeting and assisting all visitors in accordance with the facility’s guest relations program, ensuring visitor logs are signed and visitor passes are issued to maintain security and professionalism. The role includes managing incoming calls through a multi-line telephone switchboard efficiently and courteously, vital for coordinating hospital communication. Receptionist duties extend to documenting incoming deliveries, maintaining the facility census book, and supporting admissions by printing round sheets and labels for Admissions & Records and Nursing departments.
This is a Per Diem position requiring weekend and evening availability from 3:15 PM to 8:45 PM, offering competitive hourly compensation ranging from $21.00 to $22.00 per hour. The ideal candidate must demonstrate professional phone etiquette, strong organizational skills, and the ability to work within a dynamic healthcare environment. Additionally, certification in CPR is mandatory, reflecting the hospital's commitment to safety. The role may require occasional overtime and flexibility in scheduling to meet hospital needs.
