The Server Assistant (SA) position at TC Restaurant Group is a pivotal role within their busy restaurant and bar establishments. This role is designed to support restaurant servers in managing tables efficiently and ensuring an excellent dining experience for each guest. The SA is responsible for assisting with food and beverage service delivery, maintaining cleanliness, and anticipating guests’ needs in a lively setting that features live entertainment and considerable customer traffic. The role requires working knowledge of the food and beverage menu, thorough understanding of host and support staff processes, and the ability to communicate effectively with both guests and team members. Key tasks include preparing dining areas with a focus on sanitation, properly serving and presenting food and drinks, and maintaining the flow of service by supporting servers as well as maintaining a clean and organized work environment.
Server Assistants must exhibit professionalism, promptness, and a strong teamwork ethic while completing opening, running, and closing duties as assigned. They play a critical role in upholding service quality standards and safety protocols, including proper food temperature and presentation standards. The position requires physical stamina, as individuals must be able to stand and move quickly during shifts and lift items up to 25 pounds regularly and up to 50 pounds occasionally. Shifts may include various days, nights, weekends, and holidays, and could occasionally require overtime. Environmental factors such as exposure to smoke, noise, flashing lights, and hectic situations require resilience and adaptability.

- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Proof of eligibility to work in the United States
- Must be 18+ years of age
- Adhere to and enforce company, local, state, and government regulations
- Must be able to obtain and maintain any licensing or active work cards required for the position
- Ability to stand and exert well-paced mobility for the duration of a scheduled shift
- Must be able to lift up to 25 pounds and/or move objects up to 50 pounds
- Work includes indoor and/or outdoor areas and withstand high and low temperatures
- Ability to work in small areas with 3 ft. access
- Schedule may exceed 30 hours per week and include approved overtime
- Work varied shifts including days, nights, weekends, and holidays
- Ability to be exposed to environmental factors such as second-hand smoke, noise, flashing lights, and stress related to guest interaction in a fast-paced environment
