We are currently seeking a dedicated Room Attendant to join our housekeeping team. This full-time role is vital in maintaining the cleanliness, order, and appeal of our guest rooms and communal areas. The Room Attendant will be responsible for servicing guest rooms daily, adhering strictly to our established hotel procedures, and assuring that each room is in prime condition to welcome guests. Responsibilities include changing bed linens, replenishing guest room supplies, cleaning bathrooms and windows, and handling housekeeping carts stocked with necessary supplies. This position requires attention to detail, the physical ability to perform cleaning duties, and a commitment to safety and security protocols. The Room Attendant will also respond to guest requests promptly and report any issues or complaints to maintain excellent guest satisfaction. Collaborating with the Senior Housekeeper and Housekeeping Supervisor is essential in prioritizing tasks and ensuring smooth operations within the housekeeping department. Applicants who possess previous experience in hotel housekeeping or related fields will find this role well-suited to their skills, although prior experience is not mandatory. The position demands physical stamina, including the ability to lift up to 50 pounds, bend, walk, and stand for extended periods. Effective communication skills are also important to clearly convey information and address concerns raised by guests or team members. This role offers an average workweek of 36 to 40 hours, with occasional longer hours as needed.
