Lucky Strike Entertainment is currently seeking enthusiastic and dedicated Cooks to join their team at Castle Park. The Cook role is vital within the Food & Beverage team and focuses on preparing high-quality food items over hot equipment while maintaining kitchen organization and cleanliness according to management's specifications. This position requires attention to detail to uphold consistent food presentation and quality, ensuring an exceptional dining experience for all guests.
The Cook will greet guests with a welcoming and friendly attitude, perform opening and closing procedures, and prepare food based on standardized recipes to ensure consistent quality. This role involves using kitchen equipment safely and effectively and participating in food preparation activities such as chopping, slicing, and mixing. A Cook must be safety-conscious, especially when handling sharp tools and hot surfaces, and adhere to all state, local, and company regulations regarding food preparation and service. Working in a team environment, the Cook must multitask efficiently and be prepared to assist colleagues as needed to prevent service delays.
The role requires flexibility in scheduling, including availability for evening, night, weekend, and holiday shifts, and reliable transportation is essential. The Cook will be based in various food stalls and restaurant locations throughout the park, often exposed to indoor and outdoor conditions involving varying temperatures and environmental factors. Physical demands include standing, walking, lifting objects up to 30 pounds, and enduring heat and humidity from kitchen equipment.
This part-time position offers a competitive pay rate ranging from $17.00 to $17.25 per hour.
