The role of Merchandising & Inventory Supervisor at Staples is pivotal in ensuring the effective management of sales floor merchandising, inventory control, back-room operations, and customer service excellence. As a Merchandising & Inventory Supervisor, you will be responsible for coordinating a variety of product and merchandising activities, including processing inventory transactions such as zero balance, return to vendor, and store pickups, as well as executing weekly planograms and seasonal merchandising changes. Delivering exceptional customer service and fostering an inviting, clean store environment are critical components of the role. Additionally, this position involves supporting front-end operations including cashier duties, handling returns, and managing online reservation pickups. Flexibility, leadership, and the ability to coach and collaborate with teams are essential skills for success in this role. The work schedule is flexible to meet store demands, and key holder experience in retail is preferred but not mandatory.   • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Previous retail or merchandising experience preferred
  • Experience supervising or coaching a team preferred

  • Basic computer proficiency
  • Willingness to perform physical tasks such as climbing ladders and standing for long periods
