The Retail Cashier role at Detroit Airport, Michigan, is a full-time position focused on managing all retail transactions with accuracy and providing outstanding guest service. The Retail Cashier will be responsible for greeting guests, processing sales using the point of sale system, maintaining sales records, handling merchandise stocking, and ensuring the accuracy of cash banks at the beginning and end of shifts. The role demands multitasking capabilities within a fast-paced retail setting, attention to detail in handling money, and the ability to stand for extended periods, lift merchandise items up to 50 pounds, and perform frequent stair climbing. • Previous retail or customer service experience preferred
• Ability to handle multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment
• Ability to accurately handle money and count change
• Ability to stand for the entire length of the shift
• Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds
• Ability to climb stairs and use a step stool frequently
• Visual acuity sufficient to distinguish merchandise and operate point-of-sale system
