This position plays a vital role in the food production process within the taproom and restaurant, ensuring that all pizzas are prepared according to Bosque Brewing’s high standards. The primary mission of the Pizza Cook is to follow established recipes and procedures closely, ensuring that each order maintains the quality and consistency expected by the brand. Attention to safety and sanitation is paramount in this role, as the cook is responsible for adhering to safe working practices and maintaining cleanliness in the kitchen and surrounding areas. The Pizza Cook will be responsible for prepping raw materials, managing inventory, and producing food orders efficiently and neatly. This includes dough making, measuring and mixing ingredients, and following precise cooking and plating instructions. The role demands a sense of urgency, attention to detail, and a proactive approach to anticipating the guests’ needs. Additionally, the position requires collaboration with coworkers, assisting with cleaning duties, and helping maintain a clean, friendly atmosphere in the back-of-house areas. The physical demands of this role include standing, walking, bending, and frequently handling kitchen equipment and food products safely. The Pizza Cook must be able to lift moderate weights and work in an environment that can be hot, noisy, and busy. Protective attire such as non-slip shoes and gloves are mandatory to ensure safety. Since the role requires excellent communication skills and teamwork, the candidate must be able to interact professionally and effectively with both coworkers and guests.
