The role of an Eli's Restaurant Manager is integral to the successful operation and atmosphere of each restaurant. Managers are responsible not only for staff leadership and operational management but also for maintaining the highest standards in marketing, human resources, inventory control, and compliance with safety regulations. Key responsibilities include managing team schedules and manpower needs, training and developing hourly team members, actively engaging with guests to resolve complaints and ensure satisfaction, driving sales and service excellence, and enforcing company policies and values. The manager’s role extends to overseeing marketing initiatives, managing inventories cost-effectively, maintaining safety and sanitation standards, and ensuring compliance with liquor laws. Managers also participate in recruitment activities, hiring and recommending front-of-house staff and creating a fun, safe, and motivating environment through core values, contests, theme nights, and staff incentives.   • Minimum 2 years prior restaurant management experience
  • Certification in ServSafe and Food Safety Handler Certification or within 30 days of hiring
  • Training for Intervention Procedures TIPS certification required or within 30 days of hiring
  • Ability to utilize Microsoft Office Suite programs especially Word Excel and PowerPoint
  • Experience with bar service and knowledge of state and local liquor laws
  • Strong catering to-go and events background
  • Ability to manage labor inventory and waste effectively
  • Excellent communication and conflict resolution skills
  • Business math accounting and decision-making skills
  • Ability to work an average of 55 plus hours per week and rotating shifts including nights weekends and holidays
  • Physical ability to lift up to 50 pounds and maintain activity throughout the shift
